US mining exploration sees high-grade silver and antimony results
Mining exploration activities are intensifying in the United States, with significant results reported in Arizona and Utah. In Arizona, Prismo Metals announced high-grade results from its Phase I drilling program at the Silver King project near Superior. The program identified sections containing up to 1,452 grams of silver per tonne, alongside gold and copper mineralization. The company noted that the upper part of the mineralized body remains largely unexplored and suggests a transition to copper mineralization at greater depths.
In Utah, Heliostar Metals has reported strong surface sampling results for antimony and gold at its Goldstrike project. Sampling at Antimony Ridge yielded up to 2.53% antimony and 0.61 g/t gold. The company also identified a second area, Antimony Knoll, approximately 1,700 meters west of the initial site. Heliostar has commenced a drilling program to test the potential of these critical minerals beneath the surface, aiming to enhance the economic profile of the project's existing gold resources.
