U.S. Mint releases 1776–2026 Constitution Quarter sets

The United States Mint has launched the sale of the 1776–2026 U.S. Constitution Quarter as part of the nation’s Semiquincentennial program. The commemorative coins feature a portrait of James Madison on the obverse and Independence Hall in Philadelphia on the reverse.

Collectors can purchase 100-coin bags from the Philadelphia or Denver Mints for $63, or an 80-coin two-roll set for $56. To manage demand, the Mint has implemented a limit of two units per household for the initial 26 hours of the sale.

The Constitution quarter is one of several designs released to mark America’s 250th anniversary. While the cent and nickel retain their traditional designs with updated dual dates, other denominations such as the dime and half dollar feature new one-year designs. The quarters have also begun entering general circulation through Federal Reserve Banks.
