U.S. Mint releases Calvin Coolidge Presidential Silver Medal

The U.S. Mint has announced the release of the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Silver Medal, the latest addition to its Presidential Silver Medal Program. The one-ounce medal is struck in 99.9% fine silver and is priced at $164.

Designed by former chief engraver John Ray Sinnock, the medal features a bust of the 30th president on the obverse. The reverse depicts a seated female figure holding fasces, an eagle above a U.S. shield, and a cornucopia, with inscriptions referencing Coolidge’s inaugurations in 1923 and 1925.

Each medal will be encapsulated and provided in a presentation case with a certificate of authenticity. Orders are scheduled to open at noon EDT on September 3. The item is a commemorative medal rather than legal-tender coinage.
