U.S. News ranks top pediatric hospitals including Texas Children's and St. Jude

U.S. News & World Report has released its 2026-2027 Best Children's Hospitals rankings, highlighting top-performing pediatric medical centers across the United States. The rankings are based on clinical outcomes, compliance with best practices, and the quality of hospital resources.

In Houston, three facilities received national recognition: Texas Children's Hospital, Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital, and Children's Cancer Hospital-MD Anderson Cancer Center. Texas Children's Hospital was named the top pediatric hospital in Texas and the Southwest, earning the No. 1 spot nationally in Cardiology and Heart Surgery, as well as Diabetes and Endocrinology. It also received top-five rankings in several other specialties, including Nephrology, Pulmonology, and Neurology.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was ranked third among the best pediatric cancer hospitals. The hospital has been included in the U.S. News rankings annually since 2008, recognized for its clinical data, patient outcomes, and specialized programs for pediatric catastrophic diseases.
