U.S. News & World Report releases 2026-2027 pediatric hospital rankings

U.S. News & World Report has released its 2026-2027 rankings for the best children's hospitals, highlighting several institutions for excellence in specific pediatric specialties.

Seattle Children's Hospital has ranked among the top ten children's hospitals in the United States for the third consecutive year. The hospital saw 11 of its pediatric specialties receive national rankings, with Nephrology (3rd), Oncology (5th), Diabetes & Endocrinology (9th), and Pulmonology (9th) all placing in the top ten. It remains the top-ranked hospital in Washington state and shares the top ranking in the Pacific region with Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Wolfson Children's Hospital was also recognized as one of the nation's 50 best children's hospitals. It earned rankings in four specialties: Diabetes & Endocrine Disorders, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and Urology. These recognized specialties are provided in collaboration with Nemours Children's Health.
