The operation, which involved a dawn raid on the individual's residence in Putney, occurred before the Metropolitan Police were notified of the investigation.

Reports indicate the individual, a former serviceman, was taken to a US military facility and flown out of the United Kingdom, with flight data suggesting the use of a cargo aircraft via RAF Fairford. The investigation was reportedly triggered by US authorities' probe into the individual's brother in the United States.
