US poll finds 73% say Trump ignores nation’s biggest problems

A CNN‑commissioned poll of American adults conducted by SSRS shows that 73% of respondents believe President Donald Trump has not paid enough attention to the country’s most important issues. Only 27% think his priorities are correct.

The survey also recorded a historically low overall approval rating for Trump at 34%, with half of adults disapproving of his performance. Support among Republicans fell to a new low, with just 19% expressing enthusiasm for his second term. The poll highlighted strong criticism of his handling of the economy, inflation, gasoline prices and the conflict with Iran.

These results come amid heightened public concern over economic stagnation, rising inflation and the prospect of a prolonged military engagement with Iran, and may influence the political landscape ahead of upcoming elections.
