President Tinubu condemns Kaduna attack that killed 30
In the early hours of Monday, an armed assault on Naridon village in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State killed about 30 civilians, including women and children, and burnt down houses. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu condemned the incident as “an unprovoked act of terror against defenceless people,” expressed condolences to the victims’ families and to Governor Uba Sani, and ordered the armed forces, police and intelligence agencies to intensify operations, track down the perpetrators and restore normalcy to the region.
