US releases new UAP documents and video footage of unexplained aerial phenomena

U.S. agencies, including the Department of War and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, have released tens of millions of records on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). The release includes photos, videos and reports, many of which document unresolved cases where officials could not determine the nature of the objects.

Some material can be explained as visual artefacts, cosmic‑ray flashes or insects near camera lenses. Other footage remains puzzling, such as Navy‑recorded “Tic Tac” objects that maneuver without visible propulsion, reported drone‑swarm encounters near U.S. and European military bases, and a 2025 congressional hearing video showing an MQ‑9 Reaper drone firing a Hellfire missile at a UAP that appeared to deflect without damage.

A compiled 14‑minute video collection of all newly released UAP clips has been made publicly available, underscoring ongoing uncertainty about the phenomena despite extensive analysis.
