US Representative warns of potential UFO disclosure race with rivals

US Representative Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) has warned that the United States risks a propaganda loss if it fails to maintain transparency regarding Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). Burlison suggested that if rival nations like China or Russia disclose information about extraterrestrial life or recovered objects before the US, it would damage America's reputation for transparency.

In Brazil, former defense minister Aldo Rebelo indicated that the country might release its own files on UFO incidents, such as the alleged 1996 crash in Varginha, if the United States makes its own records public. Burlison noted that international validation of US disclosures could help prevent domestic skepticism regarding potential disinformation or hoaxes.
