US Republican Senators Mark Nation’s 250th Birthday with Breitbart Tributes

Senator Mike Crapo (R‑ID), Chair of the Senate Finance Committee, recorded a video for Breitbart’s “American Tributes” series celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary. He emphasized America’s foundation on liberty, individual rights and a government “by the consent of the governed,” highlighted the nation’s Christian heritage, and said every citizen is “endowed with dignity and purpose.” Crapo also mentioned his recent renewal of a petition for the release of Stephen Hubbard, a U.S. citizen detained in Russia since 2022, and noted his upcoming re‑election bid in 2028.

Senator Susan Collins (R‑ME) contributed a separate video to the same series. She described “America the Beautiful” as a testament to the American spirit, recalled the country’s historic fight for liberty, and praised modern acts of generosity. Collins said she prays that God’s grace will continue to bless the people and the nation as it marks the 250th anniversary.
