Major U.S. retailers launched extensive July 4th promotions, featuring deep discounts on consumer electronics. Target joined the sales with up to 40 % off on groceries, apparel and outdoor gear.

Lenovo also participated, offering substantial price cuts on its laptop lineup, including the Yoga Slim 7x, IdeaPad 5a and ThinkPad X13, as well as on the IdeaTab Pro tablet. Discounts ranged from $500 off flagship models to 10 % off business‑class devices, underscoring the breadth of the holiday‑weekend sales across multiple product categories.
