US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says his dream weekend is watching every college football game

Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Fox News’s “My View” with Lara Trump that his ideal week off would be to sit down and watch every college football game, from noon Eastern until the West Coast games end around 2 a.m. Eastern. He joked that his wife would hate the answer but he hopes to have such a weekend someday.

He said he initially disliked the image but later embraced the jokes, noting that Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino even created a display of the memes. The interview also touched on his long career in public service, with Rubio reflecting that he has changed over the years but his core principles remain the same.
