US Senators Push SEC Probe into Trump Media’s $100K Truth API

Democratic senators Elizabeth Warren and Adam Schiff have sent a letter to SEC Chairman Paul Atkins urging an investigation into Trump Media & Technology Group’s planned "Truth API" product. The service would charge up to $100,000 a month for early, seconds‑ahead access to posts from the ten most influential Truth Social accounts, including those of former President Donald Trump, targeting institutional investors and high‑net‑worth traders.

Critics say the offering could breach securities regulations by providing privileged information that moves markets, raising legal, political and ethical concerns. The SEC confirmed receipt of the letter but declined to comment further.
