US Signals No Options for Iran as Conflict with Israel Escalates

The United States has warned Iran that it faces no diplomatic choices, while the Pentagon is preparing to send dozens of refueling aircraft to Israel amid rising tensions. U.S. Central Command announced a series of attacks targeting Iranian military capabilities, including missile strikes on infrastructure.

Iran’s armed forces responded by launching a cruise missile at a U.S. vessel in the northern Indian Ocean and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed to have destroyed an artificial‑intelligence facility in Bahrain with ballistic missiles and drones. Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is expected to remain out of public view until the U.S.–Israel confrontation subsides, with a possible first contact with foreign leaders limited to a phone call or a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
