U.S. Small Business Administration launches $30 million grant programs for suppliers and tribal manufacturing training

The U.S. Small Business Administration announced two new grant initiatives. A $20 million competition will fund supplier projects that strengthen domestic supply chains, while a separate $10 million grant program will support tribal colleges and other Native‑serving institutions in expanding hands‑on manufacturing training. The manufacturing grants aim to create skilled jobs, bolster Native‑owned small businesses, and improve competitiveness for federal contracts. SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler said the efforts continue the agency’s focus on building a resilient industrial base under the Manufacturing in America Empower to Grow (E2G) initiative.

Both programs are part of the SBA’s broader strategy to invest in small manufacturers and supply‑chain resilience, offering technical assistance, workshops, and one‑on‑one business advising to participating firms.
