Wall Street rallies as technology stocks lead gains

U.S. stock markets experienced a strong recovery on Thursday, led by a surge in technology shares. The Nasdaq Composite led the gains, rising approximately 1.7%, while the S&P 500 climbed 1.1% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by about 0.6%.

Several economic factors contributed to the rally. A decline in crude oil prices helped ease energy supply concerns, particularly following reports regarding Saudi Arabian supply routes through Oman. Additionally, a drop in U.S. Treasury yields provided a tailwind for growth and technology stocks, as the 10-year yield fell below the 5% threshold.

The market movement follows a period of volatility triggered by recent Federal Reserve interest rate decisions. While semiconductor and AI-related companies saw significant gains, the rally was broad enough to lift most major indices, despite some small-cap stocks lagging behind the tech-heavy sectors.
