US Treasury sanctions Palestine Action and other groups

The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has designated Palestine Action, Masar Badil, and Autistici/Inventati as Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGTs). The US government alleges these groups, along with two individuals, provided financial, material, or technological support to terrorism or to organizations already under sanctions.

Autistici/Inventati was specifically targeted for providing free digital infrastructure as an alternative to commercial platforms. Under Executive Order 13224, these designations allow the US to freeze assets and prohibit US citizens and companies from conducting any transactions with the sanctioned entities.
