US vaping market sees new product launches and regulatory shifts

The United States vaping market is seeing significant shifts in product availability and regulatory status. Juul Labs Inc. has received federal authorization for three additional products, including the Juul2 device and both tobacco and menthol-flavored pods. Notably, these newly cleared pods contain approximately 18 mg per milliliter of nicotine, which is roughly half the concentration of the products authorized in July 2025.

In a separate development, Reynolds Vapor Company, a subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc., has begun selling four new flavored Vuse Pro pods—Peach, Berry, Watermelon, and Fresh Mint—in select US markets, including Ohio. Unlike the Juul products, these new Vuse Pro flavored pods have not yet received FDA marketing authorization and are not currently on the agency’s list of authorized electronic nicotine delivery system products.
