Emergency services respond to fire, welfare, and stabbing incidents

Several emergency incidents have been reported across the United Kingdom and Canada. In the UK, fire crews from Shropshire and North Wales responded to a vehicle fire near Dobbies Garden Centre at Moreton Park. Firefighters used a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames.

In Truro, Devon and Cornwall Police attended a multi-storey car park on St Clement Street following concerns for a woman's welfare. The woman was brought to safety and detained under the Mental Health Act after an ambulance attended the scene.

In Canada, the Ottawa Police Service has charged two women in connection with a stabbing that occurred on August 28 at a residence on Peter Harkness Lane in Cumberland.
