US World Cup stadiums rank as most expensive for fan concessions

Casino.org analysed concession prices at the 16 venues hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup and found that the average cost of a match‑day food and drink basket has risen from $6.56 in 2014 to $38.51 in 2026 – a 487% increase. Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium tops the list, with fans paying about $110 for a typical meal that includes a $75 tater‑tots dish. Boston’s Gillette Stadium follows at $78, Kansas City at $73.12, Dallas at $70.70 and the San Francisco Bay Area stadium at $63.25. At the low end, Atlanta Stadium offers the cheapest average total of $31.50, while Vancouver’s BC Place and New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium sit around $45–$48. European fans have complained about the high prices; “It’s three times the cost of what I pay in my country,” said German engineer Thomas Schüller about a $17 beer in Toronto.
