USA Fistball and America One Racing unveil 2026 season plans

The United States Fistball Association announced the start of its 2026 season, adding two new sponsors—Jay Taylor of LPL Financial and the independent publisher On the Square Comics. The season opener on June 27 took place despite rain, with South Jersey Salmies defeating Phoenix Sport Club to claim the opening tournament title. Upcoming events include the Sportsfest Tournament on August 1 and the USA Fistball National Championships in Hackettstown, New Jersey, on September 26‑27.

America One Racing, the leading private financial supporter of elite U.S. sailors, released its 2026 mid‑year performance report. The report highlighted continued progress in its Project Podium and Foiling Pipeline programs, the upcoming launch of the A1R Academy to develop talent for the next Olympic cycle, and a fundraiser called “Layline to LA28” scheduled for November 20 at the San Diego Yacht Club. The organization also outlined the sailing schedule for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, covering events in kiteboarding, windsurfing, dinghy, skiff and multihull classes.
