USA Network renews crime drama ‘Anna Pigeon’ for season 2

USA Network has renewed the scripted crime drama ‘Anna Pigeon’ for a second season. The announcement comes two days before the first season's finale.

Based on the novels by Nevada Barr, the series stars Tracy Spiridakos as a national park ranger investigating crimes within America’s national parks. The show has performed well for the network, with its premiere drawing 2.35 million viewers over seven days, marking its best scripted series debut since 2018. It currently holds the position of the number one new scripted drama on ad-supported cable for the year.

Showrunner Morwyn Brebner expressed excitement regarding the audience's connection to the character, while Michael Sluchan, senior VP of scripted content for Versant Entertainment, noted the series has brought a fresh perspective to the network. The production is a collaboration between Cineflix and Seven24 Films.
