USA women's lacrosse advances to championship final after 19-7 semifinal win over Israel

On July 31, 2026, the United States women's lacrosse team defeated Israel 19‑7 in the semifinal of the Nissin Foods World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in Tokyo, earning a spot in the title game.

The victory extends the U.S. streak to 35 consecutive wins in the tournament and puts the squad on track for a record fifth straight world championship. Madison Taylor, this year’s Tewaaraton winner, led with five goals and an assist, while Ally Kennedy scored the go‑ahead goal early in the first quarter. Eliza Osburn, Emma LoPinto, Kenzie Kent and others each contributed multiple goals.

The United States will meet Canada in the Sunday final, scheduled for 7 p.m. Tokyo time (6 a.m. Eastern), with the match to be streamed live on World Lacrosse TV.
