USAA and Robert Irvine Foundation launch military family initiative

USAA and the Robert Irvine Foundation have launched ‘Fuel to Serve’, a five-year initiative designed to improve the well-being and readiness of military families. The program utilizes food and shared meals as a primary entry point to connect service members and their families with essential resources.

By leveraging familiar settings such as dining facilities and commissaries, the initiative aims to provide access to nutrition education, financial resilience training, mental health services, benefits navigation, and community support. The program is part of the ‘Honor Through Action’ national advocacy movement founded by USAA.

Initial pilot projects are scheduled to begin at Fort Bragg and in the Washington, D.C. region, with plans to expand the model nationally.
