Usain Bolt proposes to Kasi Bennett during 40th birthday

Jamaican sprinting legend Usain Bolt has proposed to his longtime partner, Kasi Bennett. The engagement took place during celebrations for Bolt’s 40th birthday on August 21 in Kingston, Jamaica.

Bolt, an eight-time Olympic gold medalist, reportedly surprised Bennett by getting down on one knee in front of family and friends. The proposal included a five-carat diamond ring. Bennett, who had been unaware of the plan, shared her emotional reaction on social media, noting that the evening ‘perfectly summarizes’ her feelings.

The couple has been in a relationship since 2013 and shares three children: daughter Olympia Lightning and twin sons Thunder and Saint Leo. Bolt retired from professional athletics in 2017, leaving behind numerous world records and a legacy as one of the greatest sprinters in history.
