Usame Zukorlić addresses Preševo Economic Forum

Usame Zukorlić, the Minister for Reconciliation, Regional Cooperation, and Social Stability, addressed the opening of the Preševo Economic Forum. The event brought together investors, entrepreneurs, and institutional representatives to initiate economic development projects for the Preševo Valley.

Zukorlić emphasized the importance of cooperation between Bosniaks and Albanians, stating that minority groups in Serbia share the common experience of living as minorities and cannot afford internal divisions. He noted that joint efforts should focus on addressing poverty, unemployment, underdevelopment, and the migration of young people.

To foster growth, Zukorlić called for increased investment, improved infrastructure, and greater support for local entrepreneurs. He highlighted the diaspora as a vital resource for bringing capital, expertise, and business connections to the region. Additionally, he advocated for stronger economic links between Preševo, Sandžak, and other regional areas.
