USATF Outdoor Championships: DeLay eighth in 5K, Valby bronze, Bryant fourth in long jump

Yale alum Kayley DeLay finished eighth in the women's 5,000‑meter run at the USATF Outdoor Championships held at Icahn Stadium in New York, posting a season‑best time of 15:15.75. It was her second appearance in the 5K at the national meet.

Florida alumni Parker Valby secured the bronze medal in the same 5,000‑meter race with a time of 15:06.25, while fellow Florida graduate Claire Bryant placed fourth in the women's long jump, achieving a mark of 6.77 m. The Florida contingent added a total of four top‑five finishes and two medals for the championship.

Both performances were part of the final day of the competition, which featured a strong showing from U.S. collegiate and professional athletes.
