USC defeats San Diego State in men's basketball exhibition

The San Diego State men's basketball team lost an exhibition game to the USC Trojans at Viejas Arena. Despite a 19-point performance from Elzie Harrington, the Aztecs struggled with ball security, committing 20 turnovers compared to USC's 12.

USC established an early lead, heading into halftime with a 51-31 advantage. Sophomore guard Alijah Arenas contributed significantly to the Trojans' performance, recording 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists by the half. The loss serves as a developmental opportunity for the Aztecs, who are integrating 12 new players into their roster ahead of the regular season.
