USC EdTech Accelerator named one of America’s Best Incubators by TIME
The USC EdTech Accelerator, located within the University of Southern California’s Rossier School of Education, has been named one of ‘America’s Best Incubators & Accelerators for 2026’ by TIME Magazine. The program ranked 48th out of 80 evaluated hubs.
Founded in 2018 by professors Doug Lynch and Mark DeGennaro, the fully virtual accelerator supports educational technology solutions aimed at improving quality and equity in learning. The program does not charge tuition or take equity in participating companies. To date, companies within the accelerator have raised more than $150 million and reached over 25 million learners globally.
TIME Magazine’s ranking was determined based on founder feedback, program track records, and recommendations from industry experts, including investors and entrepreneurs.
