USD.AI secures $10M loan for Nvidia GPUs and expands to Arc blockchain
USD.AI has secured a $10 million loan to build enterprise-grade AI computing infrastructure, specifically utilizing 192 Nvidia B300 GPUs. The company operates a lending structure that connects on-chain liquidity with AI computing demand by using GPUs as collateral. To date, USD.AI has executed 17 loans totaling $279.9 million, with $180.8 million in active principal.
Expanding its ecosystem, USD.AI has launched its stablecoins, USDai and sUSDai, on the Arc Layer 1 blockchain. This move allows users to utilize these assets for bridging, swapping, and staking. Notably, sUSDai—an interest-bearing stablecoin that provides exposure to yields from GPU collateralized loan portfolios—can now be used as collateral to borrow USDC on the Arc network.
This expansion involves a collaborative DeFi structure featuring Morpho, a lending protocol, and Bitwise, a digital asset manager. In this setup, Bitwise manages vaults where users deposit USDC, which is then allocated to Morpho lending markets. Borrowers can provide sUSDai or other approved real-world asset (RWA) tokens as collateral to access USDC liquidity.
