USGA Sets Future Venues for Women’s Amateur and Senior Women’s Open Championships

The United States Golf Association (USGA) released the complete schedule of host courses for the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship through 2046. The list includes Pinehurst No. 2 (North Carolina) in 2027, Brae Burn Country Club (Massachusetts) in 2028, Oakland Hills (Michigan) in 2029, The Olympic Club (California) in 2030, Baltimore Country Club (Maryland) in 2031, Bandon Dunes (Oregon) in 2032, Erin Hills (Wisconsin) in 2033, The Country Club (Utah) in 2034, Atlanta Athletic Club (Georgia) in 2035, Inverness Club (Ohio) in 2036, and additional venues slated for later years such as Oakmont (Pennsylvania) in 2046.

Separately, the USGA announced that Barton Hills Country Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan, will host the U.S. Senior Women’s Open from August 20‑23, 2026. The tournament will feature 120 players, including five World Golf Hall‑of‑Famers and 26 former USGA champions. The Donald Ross‑designed course will play at just over 6,200 yards with a par of 72, and the USGA highlighted its strategic bunkering and varied hole layouts.

Both announcements underscore the USGA’s plan to rotate major women’s amateur events across historic and modern courses nationwide, providing competitive opportunities for top amateur and senior women golfers.
