Usher denies viral rumors of using a body double at MetLife Stadium

Usher has addressed viral social media conspiracy theories claiming he used a body double or a “clone” during his performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 7. The rumors, which gained significant traction on platforms like TikTok and X, were fueled by concert footage showing the singer wearing a hat and sunglasses, leading fans to question his facial features, body language, and hand tattoos.

Responding to the speculation on Instagram, Usher dismissed the claims with humor. “Y’all are funny… clone? They can’t clone this??” he wrote, adding, “How y’all come up with this? AI ain’t that advanced.”

The singer is currently performing on the Raymond & Brown Tour alongside Chris Brown. Despite the digital scrutiny, the tour has continued with high-profile guest appearances, including a medley by 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, and Uncle Murda during the New Jersey stop.
