Usher denies allegations of using a lookalike during New Jersey concert

Singer Usher has addressed viral social media allegations claiming he used a lookalike or “clone” during his recent R&B Tour performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The claims surfaced after fans analyzed concert footage, specifically during his performance of “Caught Up,” suggesting the dancer on stage did not match his usual movements or facial features.

Usher responded to the speculation on Instagram, dismissing the theories as humorous. “Y’all are funny… clone? They can’t clone this?? How y’all come up with this?” he commented, adding that artificial intelligence is not yet advanced enough to facilitate such a deception.

The tour, which features Chris Brown, is scheduled to continue through various cities, including Las Vegas and Atlanta, until December 11.
