Usher’s New Look and USC Thornton launch music industry fellowship

The USC Thornton School of Music and Usher’s New Look have announced the launch of the New Look × USC Thornton Founding Fellows. This new year-long experiential learning fellowship is designed to connect five USC Thornton undergraduate students with various sectors of the contemporary live entertainment industry.

Unlike traditional internships that focus on a single company, this pilot program moves a cohort across the entire entertainment ecosystem. Students will engage with artist teams, touring and production, promoters, venues, technology design, and industry executives to gain a comprehensive understanding of the professional landscape.
