Ushuaia and Concepción del Uruguay Hold Municipal Mental Health Workshops
The Municipality of Ushuaia organized an intergenerational mental‑health workshop titled “Del algoritmo al encuentro”. The event, led by municipal youth program director Agustín Monzón and psychologist Soledad Lemus Muller, aimed to foster critical thinking about digital violence, algorithms and personal wellbeing. Monzón emphasized that the work reflects the mayor’s community‑building policies.
In Concepción del Uruguay, the municipal Direction of Mental Health hosted the second session of its “Salud mental en tu barrio” series at the CAPS “Amanda Ledesma”. Psychologist Matías Coronel addressed “Sadness and depression: signs, care and resources”, continuing a program that covers anxiety, depression and related concerns across all six primary‑care health centers in the city.
