Ushuaia and Santa Fe municipalities carry out road clearing and traffic diversions

In Ushuaia, Argentina, the municipal secretary of Planning, Works and Public Services, Carolina Yutrovic, said the city’s winter operation continues to clear snow, maintain streets and monitor public spaces to keep traffic flowing and services running. Work focuses first on routes used by public transport, schools, health facilities and utilities such as gas and water, then expands to the rest of the city. Extra equipment is hired in addition to the city’s own fleet, and crews work in shifts during snowfall.

In Santa Fe, Argentina, the municipality announced a series of street closures and bus‑detour changes to accommodate water‑utility works and pothole repairs. Affected streets include intersections on Francia, Av. Gral. López, Dr. Zavalla, Domingo Silva and several others. Bus lines 2, 9, 16 and additional routes will follow temporary itineraries while the works proceed.
