Ushuaia Arts Center renovation bids opened

The Government of Tierra del Fuego has opened bids for the renovation and maintenance of the ‘María Inés Bustelo’ Polivalente de Artes center in Ushuaia. Two economic proposals were submitted for the project, which has an official budget of approximately 46 million pesos and an estimated execution period of 30 days.

One of the submitted offers exceeded the official budget, while the other was below it. An evaluation commission will now analyze the proposals to determine the most suitable option. The planned works include repairing doors and windows, renovating bathrooms, installing a grease interceptor in the kitchen, and maintaining the heating system. The project was developed following a survey conducted alongside students and members of the educational community to identify specific building needs.
