Ushuaia hosts “Fachadas Fueguinas” architectural art exhibition

The Centro Cultural, Social y Político Nueva Argentina (CCNA) in Ushuaia has inaugurated “Fachadas Fueguinas: una exploración de lenguajes visuales,” an exhibition by artist Paula Martínez. The project explores the urban history and architectural heritage of Ushuaia through a multidisciplinary approach.

Inspired by walking tours through neighborhoods near the city center, Martínez utilized photographic records taken between 2025 and 2026 to focus on traditional houses that remain part of daily life despite a changing urban landscape. These photographs served as the foundation for a plastic investigation involving various techniques, including watercolor, charcoal drawing, pen, woodcut, digital art, and ceramics. The exhibition is currently open to the public at San Martín 105.
