Ushuaia hosts first Patagonian 3D Printing Congress

The first edition of the Patagonian Congress of 3D Printing, Digital Fabrication, and Applied Innovation (COPAT 3D) concluded in Ushuaia, Argentina. Organized by the Agencia de Innovación Fueguina, the event took place on October 2 and 3 at the Fábrica de Talentos.

The congress attracted over one thousand registrants, bringing together specialists, entrepreneurs, students, and educators. The program focused on the applications of 3D printing and digital fabrication within industries such as health, education, research, and productive development.

Key participants included Irene Presti, founder of the Cámara Argentina de Impresión 3D y Fabricaciones Digitales. The event also featured a competition titled ‘Diseñando el futuro capa a capa’ for secondary school students, providing economic incentives for innovative projects. Local entrepreneurs showcased equipment and materials, highlighting the technological capabilities of the Tierra del Fuego province.
