Ushuaia hosts selection for National Malambo Festival

The 5th edition of the ‘Peña del Prelaborde’ will take place this Saturday, September 19, at the Esther Fadul Cultural Center in Ushuaia. The event includes the official provincial selection process to choose the representatives of Tierra del Fuego for the 59th National Malambo Festival, which is scheduled to be held in Laborde, Córdoba, in January.

The selection process will feature national figures including champion Arnaldo Pérez, Bárbara Sánchez, Cristian Ledesma, and announcer Ángel Piedra. Following the selection, the evening will transition into a musical and dance performance starting at 21:30, featuring various local groups and artists.

Tickets are priced at $8,000 for advance purchases and $10,000 at the door.
