Ushuaia kindergarten to host student art exhibition

The Krakeyen Kindergarten in Ushuaia is launching an art exhibition titled ‘Sembrando competencias en los ciudadanos del futuro’ (Sowing competencies in the citizens of the future) at the Nueva Argentina Cultural, Social, and Political Center. Opening on Monday, September 8, the exhibition features works created by students in the 4 and 5-year-old classrooms.

The display is part of the institution's long-standing educational project, which focuses on three thematic pillars: ‘Friends of the Earth’, ‘Growing Together’, and ‘English’. The initiative aims to provide the community with a tangible look at the school's pedagogical methods and how students engage with abstract concepts through creative and playful learning strategies.

Founded in 1986 by sisters María José and María Gabriela Sosa, the kindergarten has operated for 41 years. The hosting venue, the Nueva Argentina Cultural Center, was established by Senator Cristina López and Legislator Juan Carlos Pino.
