Ushuaia launches 2026 BiciUshuaia season with new routes

The Municipality of Ushuaia has formally inaugurated the 2026 BiciUshuaia season. The launch event featured a group ride of approximately 100 participants through the Luis Pedro Fique walkway and the Misión Alta and Baja sectors.

The service operates through six autonomous stations located at Plaza Chupetín, the Polivalente de Artes roundabout, the Port of Ushuaia, Plaza Belgrano, Bar Yamanas, and the airport roundabout. This season introduces new permitted riding zones, including the Trencito del Fin del Mundo, the CECU campsite, the Playa Larga lighthouse, the San Martín neighborhood, and the Pipo sector. However, routes are prohibited from extending into Tierra del Fuego National Park or along National Route 3 beyond the Ushuaia entrance signs.

Hourly rates remain unchanged from the previous season: $2,500 for provincial residents, $5,000 for national tourists, and $7,500 for international tourists. Charges are applied per full clock hour.
