Ushuaia Mayor meets with José Martí students

Students from the José Martí Secondary School met with Ushuaia Mayor Walter Vuoto and Government Secretary Sebastián Iriarte to discuss upcoming student activities. The meeting focused on the traditional ‘Intertribus’ competitions, which involve various sporting, cultural, and recreational activities organized by fifth and sixth-year students.

In addition to the competitions, the group discussed student involvement in the ‘Ushuaia Joven’ municipal program. Local authorities emphasized the importance of supporting youth-led initiatives and strengthening spaces for community participation and institutional identity.
