Ushuaia Mayor Walter Vuoto visits Ritmo Sur dance academy

Ushuaia Mayor Walter Vuoto visited the Ritmo Sur dance academy to support its members ahead of upcoming national competitions. Accompanied by Chief of Staff Yésica Garay and Secretary David Ferreyra, the Mayor expressed the municipality's commitment to assisting the institution.

Approximately 45 students from the academy will travel to Buenos Aires in November to participate in the national stage of the Dance World Cup. This international competition provides dancers with the opportunity to qualify for subsequent stages in other countries. The academy, which has between 120 and 150 students, noted that economic challenges often limit participation in such artistic experiences. Following successful performances last year that earned spots in European competitions, the municipality aims to continue supporting cultural institutions that foster youth development and local culture.
