Ushuaia municipal council of disability convenes new plenary session

The Municipality of Ushuaia, through the Secretariat of Women and Human Development, held a new plenary meeting of the Municipal Council of Disability (COMUDI). The council brings together representatives from public institutions, civil‑society organisations and various state agencies to discuss actions that strengthen the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities.

Secretariat head Verónica Maestro highlighted that COMUDI is a key tool for building public policies through dialogue and active listening, and affirmed the municipality’s commitment to maintain the council permanently, promote greater accessibility and create more opportunities for people with disabilities and their families.
