Ushuaia to host tenth edition of Flotante local production market

The tenth edition of Flotante, a market dedicated to local art, design, and production, will take place on October 17 and 18 in Ushuaia. Held at Escuela N.º 1 ‘Domingo Faustino Sarmiento’ from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the event will feature more than 40 local exhibitors.

Since its inception in 2020, Flotante has served as a platform for various disciplines, including visual arts, clothing, design, and gastronomy, to promote regional production. Gastón Ledesma, the provincial coordinator of Cultural Industries, noted the importance of these spaces for sector development, citing a previous edition in Río Grande that attracted over 1,000 visitors and supported more than 70 exhibitors.

The event is scheduled ahead of Mother's Day, offering the community an opportunity to discover and purchase local creations while strengthening the connection between regional producers and consumers.
