Ushuaia unveils climate plan as Carabobo hosts arts festival

The Municipality of Ushuaia has officially presented its Second Local Climate Action Plan. Led by Vice Mayor Gabriela Muñiz Siccardi and Environmental Secretary David Ferreyra, the plan establishes a roadmap for climate mitigation and adaptation. Key initiatives include improving energy efficiency, creating a greenhouse gas inventory, and conserving green spaces, peatlands, and Urban Natural Reserves.

In Venezuela, authorities have organized the ‘Festival Escuela Artes Vivas’ in Carabobo. The event involves 31 communes and aims to strengthen local identity through artistic expression. Vice Minister of Culture Gabriela Simoza and local authority Nathaly Bustamante stated that the festival serves as a territorial training network intended to eventually scale to over one thousand communes nationwide.
