Usiminas Mecânica and EPR Via Mineira hire over 150 workers in Brazil

Usiminas Mecânica announced more than 150 immediate‑hire vacancies for industrial roles in Ipatinga, Minas Gerais, and Cubatão, São Paulo. Positions include mechanic assemblers, welders (MIG, TIG, RXS), scaffold assemblers, electricians, and other technical staff. The recruitment drive, overseen by talent‑attraction manager Rita Xavier, aims to reinforce teams for ongoing industrial projects.

EPR Via Mineira opened a separate hiring round for technical and support staff to work on the BR‑040 highway corridor. Openings include engineering technicians, electro‑electronic maintenance technicians, and domain‑assistant roles in Nova Lima, Congonhas and Conselheiro Lafaiete. Candidates must hold relevant technical qualifications and a category B driver’s licence. The concessionaire says the hires will strengthen road‑maintenance operations and promote local employment.
