Croatian Prosecutor Probes HNK Hajduk Over Anonymous Complaints

The State Attorney’s Office (DORH) in Croatia has opened investigations after receiving anonymous complaints concerning several sports organisations, with a focus on football club HNK Hajduk. Main State Attorney Ivan Turudić explained that DORH routinely examines such reports, that it has requested accounting documents from Hajduk, and that the club promptly supplied the requested material.

Hajduk’s supervisory‑board president Ljubo Pavasović Visković said there is no cause for alarm, noting the complaint appears to stem from an interest group seeking to seize control of the club. He stated, “Nema nikakvog razloga za zabrinutost,” and added that DORH will verify the allegations in accordance with its statutory powers. The club maintains it knows who filed the report and that the process is a standard legal procedure.

Turudić also referenced ongoing probes in other sports federations and high‑profile cases such as the Agrokor investigation, indicating that further actions are expected in the sector.
